Ugreen is expanding into AI-powered smart home surveillance

Ugreen announced at CES 2026 that it’ll be branching into smart home territory with the launch of its SynCare product line of cameras. The series will consist of two indoor cams, the ID500 Pro and ID500 Plus, the OD600 Pro outdoor cam, and the Video Doorbell DB600 Pro. All of this gear will launch in the second half of 2026, with pricing to be announced at IFA 2026.

Both indoor cams have 4K capture with pan and tilt support, f1.0 aperture for great low-light performance (and colorized night vision), and use multimodal AI to recognize people, pets, and events. The video doorbell offers head-to-toe 4K capture and intelligent detection for packages. If you have more than one of the cameras mentioned above, you’ll get cross-camera awareness (if a baby is crying within view of one camera, another camera can broadcast an AI-announced message that a baby is crying). Ugreen also notes that its AI can can do behavior analysis, but it didn’t provide a range of possible alerts, just one example that says “a stranger in black is approaching the front door.”

The outdoor camera is “weather-rated,” though Ugreen didn’t share more details. That model has a hybrid bullet design with support for pan and tilt, plus optical zoom. It also supports multiple zones monitored with the help of AI. If someone penetrates the outermost zone, footage will automatically be captured and saved. Stepping closer to the camera will engage “warning zone,” during which a white light will turn on as a warning and you’ll get a notification on your phone. The most extreme zone, called “alert zone,” automatically triggers an audible alarm and flashes blue and red on the camera.

In Ugreen’s perfect world, you’d have a house with at least one of each camera, with which you’d be able to control and monitor with the company’s Smart Display D500 that serves as a Wi-Fi hub for the products. All of the cameras can connect to it, and you’ll be able to witness events seen by them in real-time. But according to Ugreen, buying the smart display isn’t necessary to unlock any special features. All you need is the mobile app.
