ClickHouse, a cloud-based analytics database company, has raised $400 million in a Series D funding round, valuing the company at $15 billion, as investors intensify bets on real-time data infrastructure powering artificial intelligence applications.
The round was led by Dragoneer Investment Group, with participation from existing investors including Index Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC. The company confirmed the valuation through public statements by its leadership.
The funding marks a significant jump from ClickHouse’s previous valuation of $6.35 billion, set during a $350 million funding round in 2024, underscoring the pace at which capital is flowing into AI-adjacent infrastructure rather than consumer-facing AI products.
ClickHouse was founded in 2009, with the database initially developed inside Russian internet company Yandex before being spun out into an independent commercial entity.
The company was co-founded by Alexey Milovidov, the original creator of the ClickHouse database, Aaron Katz, and Yury Izrailevsky. Aaron Katz currently serves as Chief Executive Officer, leading the company’s transition from an open-source analytical engine to a global cloud-based analytics platform.

ClickHouse is best known for its column-oriented database architecture, designed to execute high-speed analytical queries across large volumes of data. Historically used for observability, security analytics and event tracking, the platform has gained prominence as AI-enabled products generate continuous, real-time data streams.
As companies deploy AI features across software products, they increasingly require systems capable of ingesting, querying and analysing data at scale with minimal latency. This shift has placed real-time analytics databases at the centre of modern AI infrastructure.
Investor interest is increasingly concentrated on such systems, which enable AI applications to function reliably in production environments.
Alongside the funding announcement, ClickHouse confirmed the acquisition of Langfuse, a German open-source platform designed to monitor, test and evaluate large language model applications.
Langfuse enables developers to track AI outputs, analyse model behaviour and detect issues during real-world deployment. The acquisition reflects growing enterprise concern around AI reliability, accuracy and operational oversight as models move beyond experimentation into core business workflows.
ClickHouse has indicated that Langfuse will be integrated into its broader analytics offering.
ClickHouse’s customer base includes major global technology companies and AI-focused startups. Publicly disclosed customers include Meta, Tesla, Sony and Anthropic, according to company statements and reporting.
The company operates in an increasingly competitive landscape that includes data platform providers such as Snowflake and Databricks. However, ClickHouse’s emphasis on speed, cost efficiency and real-time analytics has helped differentiate it within the enterprise market.
The Series D funding brings ClickHouse’s total capital raised to well over $650 million, including earlier equity rounds and a previously disclosed credit facility.
A change from a $6.35 billion company valuation to $15 billion in a short span of time indicates the growing realization of data infrastructure in the AI economy. There has been an increased focus on platforms that handle and make sense of data produced from AI.
With its latest valuation, ClickHouse now ranks among the most highly valued private infrastructure software companies globally.
